A question of morals
Wednesday, October 12, 2011
So I should really be studying for that 'HSC' everyone seems to be talking about, but I'm finding every excuse to procrastinate. Lately everyone's been asking questions about morals, well (just Jason and Deva really, and not really lately - it was so last week!) And so here I am, ready to share another question with you. Something that is deep, thought-provoking, and controversial:
Is it wrong to save up every seat at the library for your friends when there are HEAPS of people waiting to find a seat so that they can study, do well in HSC and have a normal life?
Actually, that's not controversial at all! My mistake, the answer is obviously, no! Of course it's not wrong to just place one maths paper on each seat so that other people will walk in, think 'Oh, that seats taken, and have to walk out again', even if your friend who you are saving the seat for won't arrive for another hour! (I hope by now you have noticed my sarcasm)
But yeah, I'm so sick of it! It's so unfair that people who arrive slightly (and by slightly, I mean 15 minutes) late, don't get a seat at all! Silly girra kids - I bet they take up all the tables so that us baulkos won't be able to study. And then maybe JUST MAYBE they'll make it into the top 20. Nah, I kid, I don't hate people from Girra ... even though you guys really DO annoy me when you take up 10 tables.
I apologise for all the posts about the library - I can't really blog about anything that extends past my life, and all my life's about now are libraries. Speaking of libraries, I really wish library etiquette was taught in school. Actually no, it's just common sense! What part of QUIET STUDY AREA do you not understand you blabbering fobs!?
I really don't know why I present myself as such an angry person :(
Happy Studying,
Tonia
