WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO
CHINOS FOR 20 BUCKS

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Hope you guys had a great christmas, and all the best for 2012 :)

I saw an angel in the marble and I carved to set him free
Sunday, November 20, 2011

Hi guys,

Sorry for the lack of action, it was actually my turn to post. I guess I got a little lazy with formal and whatnot.
Formal was okay, wish it could've lasted a little longer. A DJ would have been nice as well, not just a durrybrah pressing next on a cd player.
Watch out for these three on the 15th of Dec:

After formal has been much of a blur: hilst everyone is having fun at schoolies, I got to spend a little more time with family; something I enjoyed, since I didn't get to do it so much throughout the year. We drove up the coast past Newcastle into the Barrington Tops National Park, and stayed there for a couple of nights. Some good times with my Mum, Dad, Bro and Grandma.

It was a lot of relaxation time, so I started reading again! More specifically, the same book again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Hundred_Years_of_Solitude
I find a different meaning every time. Genius.

Hope to see you all soon everyone
ciao.

(My longest post ever!)

CBF
Friday, October 14, 2011

I have been infected by the 'CBF' pathogen. I have been prescribed the 'SHIT-ATAR-THREAT' antibiotic, but I think I have overused it, and now through natural selection, a mutated form of the 'CBF' pathogen has now reproduced and created a new strain of the 'CBF+' pathogen which is completely immune to the 'SHIT-ATAR-THREAT' antibiotic.

I have begun to show symptoms including:

Currently there is no cure, but I'm sure that my 3 lines of defence are working hard to get rid of this bitch (Not the first line, because it's TOO LATE)

SOMEONE FIND ME A CURE PLEASE!

A question of morals
Wednesday, October 12, 2011

So I should really be studying for that 'HSC' everyone seems to be talking about, but I'm finding every excuse to procrastinate. Lately everyone's been asking questions about morals, well (just Jason and Deva really, and not really lately - it was so last week!) And so here I am, ready to share another question with you. Something that is deep, thought-provoking, and controversial:

Is it wrong to save up every seat at the library for your friends when there are HEAPS of people waiting to find a seat so that they can study, do well in HSC and have a normal life?

Actually, that's not controversial at all! My mistake, the answer is obviously, no! Of course it's not wrong to just place one maths paper on each seat so that other people will walk in, think 'Oh, that seats taken, and have to walk out again', even if your friend who you are saving the seat for won't arrive for another hour! (I hope by now you have noticed my sarcasm)

But yeah, I'm so sick of it! It's so unfair that people who arrive slightly (and by slightly, I mean 15 minutes) late, don't get a seat at all! Silly girra kids - I bet they take up all the tables so that us baulkos won't be able to study. And then maybe JUST MAYBE they'll make it into the top 20. Nah, I kid, I don't hate people from Girra ... even though you guys really DO annoy me when you take up 10 tables.

I apologise for all the posts about the library - I can't really blog about anything that extends past my life, and all my life's about now are libraries. Speaking of libraries, I really wish library etiquette was taught in school. Actually no, it's just common sense! What part of QUIET STUDY AREA do you not understand you blabbering fobs!?

I really don't know why I present myself as such an angry person :(

Happy Studying,

Tonia

Things I don't understand about packaged foods
Sunday, October 9, 2011

Hi all,

No one should be reading this at the moment, because you should all be studying and memorising your essays! No, I'm joking, I really hope no one is pushing themselves too hard and seriously guys, take a break after 40 minutes. It's like driving!

STOP

REVIVE

SURVIVE

Your brain can only take in a particular amount of information in one go, and it gets tired after 40 minutes, so it's actually a waste of time if you keep going. Your brain will not be functioning in it's optimum level, and will eventually denature - and I seriously cannot stop relating bio/ancient/legal/VA to my everyday life! It's terrible.

Anyway:

THINGS THAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND ABOUT PACKAGED FOOD

1) Why they keep the gross flavours in lolly packs
THIS, I really do not understand.

eg.
The 'cherry' (fuck me, tastes like bad kid's medicine!) flavour in Starburst Chews
The random dark green 'lime' flavoured lollies
LIQUORICE in jellybeans

WHY WHY WHY

Why do they ruin a perfectly good bag of lollies by putting in terrible flavours? Okay- I understand that a tiny handful of people like those flavours (and good for you because it means that there's more for you when you're sharing with others) but they are very clearly the MINORITY! Each time we share packets of lollies those flavours always always remain. The packet comes to you, you reach one out realise it is a flavour you don't particularly like, put it back in, pick another one out, realise its the same, look in the bag, and then realise - they are all the same! It's just a waste! And no one (except for that small minority of people who like them) benefits from it! Not even the manufacturers.

Bringing me to the next point:

2) Why companies fill up your chip packet with about 90% air
Okay, it's pretty obvious why they do it - to make money etc. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to express my rage towards it!

Worst offender of them all: Grain waves

Buy a packet, open up and there are TEN freaking grain waves in a packet! It's not even an exaggeration, there are literally TEN of them in there (btw - talking about the small packets) I don't give a shit if you're made of grain or corn or wheat or whatever the fuck they're made of, but seriously - ten?

And apart from ripping us off because there are only TEN chips in the bag, they then claim that LESS THAN 10 GRAMS OF FAT. Well that's probably because there isn't even 10 grams of product in the pack! Revelation of the century: All this low fat bullshit isn't low fat because they've changed the recipe to be more healthy, but because they replace most of the product with air! Great, innovative work you snack food companies.  Before you know it, they'll be selling single chips by the packet.

I have more to say but I will save it for later or else I will never finish my list of things to do D:

Good luck studying friends!

PARRA VS. MACQ
Sunday, September 25, 2011

Okay, so during Vibhav’s birthday dinner yesterday (thanks vibs, it was really fun- happy birthday again), Krishna kept pestering me to blog - and he had the right to because it’s been my turn to blog for about two weeks. So here I am!
So, I’m guessing being the Baulko kids you all are, you’ve probably all started sinking your faces into your past papers (not notes/textbook I hope because you’re probably all past the revision stage - jokes). However, like me there are many of you who find it extremely hard to work at home, when you are faced with distractions such as: brothers constantly practicing violins, the internet and pretty much a whole room filled with things to procrastinate with! And so I have decided to help you guys out and do a review on the two public libraries I know best: Macquarie University Library, and Parramatta Library.

1.TRANSPORT

Okay, for me both of these libraries are equally as easy to get to on the M54 seeing as I live right in the middle of both of them (20 minutes each way). HOWEVER, Parra is generally MUCH easier to get to for everyone else (probably). As well, the bus stop is about 4 minutes walk to the library, while depending on which bus you catch to Macq, it can range from a 2 minute walk to a 10 minute walk. There are a LOT more buses/trains to Parra compared to Macquarie as well.
Verdict:

Very easily:
Parra

2. SOCIAL LIFE

This is probably extremely biased because I don’t have any asian friends from NSG, Epping Boys and Cherrybrook Tech etc. who go to Macq (actually I don’t really know what schools go there), so I will have to say that the social life there is pretty shit unless you’re like my friend Ming who knows literally every second person in that library.

Parra on the other hand, is pretty much Baulko central. Memories of last holidays, where half the grade was pretty much there. Diverse as well, with people from all groups, toilet, stoop, backstoop, girls, asians etc. Not only does this mean you have a lot of friends to hang out with, it means that Baulkos are the majority, giving us the power to bag out the few poor Ruse kids trying hard to study in the library (ie. Vincent ‘Babesthetics’ Tran)

In terms of the rest of the people, you would probably want to steer clear of Macquarie unless you want to be surrounded by fobs. I’m not even exaggerating when I say that 90% of the people there are fobs. Everywhere around me, are people speaking Mando. I feel like a fucking foreigner D;

However, I’d have to say that Parra is filled with a lot more creepy people. A LOT more. Random old men who watch porn on the public computers, old asian men who use scissors to clip their toenails in the middle of the library. Do you see a trend? Annoying fobs > creepy men any day.

Verdict:
Even though I have a lot more friends at parra, this review is about which library is better for studying in, and unfortunately friends can be pretty distracting, so I’d have to give this one to:
Macquarie.

3. FACILITIES

In terms of facilities, Macquarie has some robotic book shelving system thingy which is really high-tech and cool, while Parra is just a regular library no better than the baulko one.  Macquarie has 5 levels while Parra has 2.

The toilets in Macquarie are a lot better - located on every level, and don’t require you to ask the information desk to unlock the toilet door for you (which is irrelevant now because the last time I went, the toilets were out of order -_-) . As well, the toilet water in Macquarie is brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently, according to the label above the toilet, there’s been some kind of chemical added to it....or something - it’s meant to be good for the environment.

There are also power points pretty much EVERYWHERE, not like parra where there are probably only 50 of them. The light in Macquarie is a lot better, not that warm yellow light in Parra which makes you want to fall asleep every time you study.
However, Parra feels a lot more homely and comfortable while Macquarie feels sort of sterile and cold - probably because it’s new...

In terms of noise, Macquarie is probably quieter bar the few loud asian fobs. There are the two semi-inside levels which are meant to be for quiet study which have power points on every desk, and the group study tables outside. Parra on the other hand, has a quiet study room, which can be really quiet at times, but with the librarians not letting me close the door between the room and outside (seriously don’t understand why I can’t close that door) IT IS SO LOUD (especially between 4-5 on weekdays)
Verdict:
By quite a lot, I’d say Macquarie

4. FOOD
Food is such an essential part of good studying. What is HSC without gaining HSC weight?! Food at Macquarie is quite convenient since they have a cafeteria thing inside the library - WHICH IS FREAKING EXPENSIVE, NOT TO MENTION THE SHIT RANGE - their mochas taste nice though, if you’re into that kinda stuff.

Most people walk to Macquarie Centre which is ANNOYING because it’s sort of far. Well, its far compared to Parra Westfield from Parra Library. In Macq you’re allowed to eat on the top 2 levels, and at Parra you’re allowed to eat as well - actually I’m not even sure if you are - some librarians will tell you off for eating but some are just eh. Doesn’t matter though, cos everyone eats anyway !

Verdict:
The winner is defs Parra - along with the afternoon specials at 3:30 - cheap and convenient

5. STAFF
Okay, Parra staff - WORST! They are so mean, and so rude and they are so annoying! Especially that stupid asian lady who seems to hate all high school kids. I mean, she is so nice to everyone else, I don’t understand why she hates us so much. One of them is nice though, buuuuuut the asian lady is meaner than she is nice.

HOWEVER (I gotta think of more works to use than however) the most annoying thing about Macq is that they don’t let you sleep! These stupid ‘Security’ people come around and wake you up, and say ‘No sleeping is allowed’ WTF? It’s a public library, let me sleep! What kind of rule is that? I’m not harming anyone! It’s just stupid. Sometimes in order for me to achieve max study I need to take a power nap! BUT I CAN’T DO THAT AT MACQ and end up really tired, and lose focus :( which really defeats the point of
studying.

Verdict:

PARRA PARRA PARRA

I guess it's safe to say that the overall winner is PARRA! 3-2 :D

Happy studying guys!

(will be at parra weekdays and macquarie weekends ;D -see you there!)

Damn! I forgot opening hours - Macquarie wins but I cbf putting it in

Cute/10 (no homo)

Variety Night (a bit late)

Self explanatory: good times were had.

UTS, dancing and brain dissection
Wednesday, September 7, 2011

After open days, everyone has pretty much stopped talking about unis and stuff, but I just want to clarify all this UTS hating! Seriously, people need to know that UTS does not just consist of that one 'ugly' building, there are like 10 of them (not 10 ugly buildings, just 10 buildings) and they are perfectly normal looking. I mean, they're even getting a Frank Gehry building - FRANK GEHRY! I like UTS, please don't diss it :<

Anyway, that aside - who is excited for variety night! It's so cool seeing people dancing everywhere these past few days! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night -the finale is going to be so great :D I can't wait to see all the boys dancing! Especially in the bhangra dance (pay special attention to Jimmy and Ian). Everyone should go, and not use excuses like 'cbf' not to, because it will be reallly realllllly good!

ALSO, I know that we're not meant to talk about school in this blog, but today we did brain dissection. And yes - it was gross. I was expecting the brains to be really big for some reason, but they were TINY! They were pretty much smaller than my fist. Anyway, here are some fun pictures of the brains (stop scrolling if it'll gross you out) Brains are so much worse than eyes and hearts because they actually RESEMBLE brains and not masses of muscle and blood! I seriously don't see how people can eat them.

See you guys tomorrow! (hopefully)

Happening @ Baulko...
Tuesday, September 6, 2011

It had occurred both to Mr. Nishant Petra and myself, that we attend a MULTICULTURAL school:

mul·ti·cul·tur·al
   /ˌmʌltiˈkʌltʃərəl, ˌmʌltaɪ-/ Show Spelled[muhl-tee-kuhl-cher-uhl, muhl-tahy-]
adjective
"of, pertaining to, or representing several different cultures or cultural elements: a multicultural society"

Indeed, you would expect that in a MULTICULTURAL school, all cultures are equally represented (not necessarily equally followed- that is entirely dependent upon the demographic of the school populace, something not within our control) : after attending that bogus scripture seminar a couple of weeks ago, it has come to our attention that all cultures are NOT equally represented - we are overwhelmingly exposed to Christianity (i generalise here: both a mixture of protestantism and catholicism) both in compulsory Scripture seminars, and through the only religion-oriented group in the school: Soul Purpose.

Now, not anything against those guys, but overexposure to a singular facet of a cultural can lead to cultural ignorance, and the formation of a seamless 'monoculture', or as Jimmy described it:
'misconceptions'

Indeed, I myself do not know enough about the world's various religions: it is something we must seek to correct: ignorance may be bliss, but ignorance can, and eventually does lead to conflict.

And so: to the point. Mr Petra and I have invited representatives from individual religious organizations to tell us a little about their religion at lunch time: these will be purely informative, and will NOT attempt to convert/bag out any other religions.

The first speaker will be from the Auburn Gallipoli Mosque, and he will be telling us a little about Islam. Dates have not been confirmed yet, but listen out for it in daily notices. In the following weeks, we shall hopefully have representatives from 'The Greater Synagogue' in Sydney City (yes, that is why I was away today, i went and had a chat), somebody from Sydney Buddhist Centre, a Hindu Speaker etc. We are open to suggestions and feedback (and encouragement/help :) ), so please give us a shout out
Baulko Year 12, for your quest for knowledge/greater awareness of the world around you, I hope to see you there!

Until the day after tomorrow (my turn to post),
Ciao!

People not responding but expecting you to know that they have heard you
Monday, September 5, 2011

Hi friends!

As you all probably know, I am pretty tops at complaining about things. So I thought, what is a better way to 'revive' this blog, than to complain about something?

Recently, the issue of 'People not responding but expecting you to know that they have heard you', has really really been getting on my nerves. Here I am, talking to them,

'Hey, can you hurry up a little? We're in a bit of a rush'

-no response-

'Hey, I said could you hurry up a litt-'

'GEEZ, I heard you the first time, OK!'

I mean really, how was I meant to know that he/she heard me? Not to mention, the unnecessary disparaging tone! Do they expect me to mind read? Do they expect me to decipher their body language? That somehow the way that they walked EVEN SLOWER upon me telling them to hurry up was cryptic for 'Yes, I heard you'. (By the way, I'm not passively hating on anyone, and this particular situation never really happened -just an example!)

Speaking of hating on people -

Looking at the way the grade above us came together nearing their graduation, has left me anticipating that SPARK that will somehow bring our grade together, that SPARK that will bring happiness, joy and other people's notes, that SPARK that has not yet appeared, even though there are only 3 weeks before we leave for good! I'm just hoping that most of the grade will turn up to variety night and participate in the finale, cos that would be really cool :)

Anyway, I have complained enough for one day, bye!

Sunday, September 4, 2011

Hello ladies and gentlemen :)

Having noticed the dramatic surge in blogging by the Baulko blogging community following the trial exams, it is sufficient to say that we, too are back.

Stay tuned for some interesting posts, regarding everything BUT insipid academic humdrum(because, face it: we're too cool for school!)

p.s. also stay tuned for the gosssssssssssss/frivolous happenings amongst the BHHS Year 12 cohort

Mo Family Problem
Wednesday, October 6, 2010

PROBLEM :

Cut up and serve a super hard frozen sorbet cake to 13 people

SOLUTION :

Aunt Susan : 'Oh well, you see what I do at home when I want to eat icecream, and it's too hard is put it in the microwave for a little bit to defrost it'

Tahnee : 'How about we all just get forks and eat it without cutting it up?'
Aunt Susan : 'No seriously, we should just put in the microwave'

Aunt Shirley : ' You should never put dairy products in the microwave ever continues rant about health issues etc

My Dad : 'Nah, don't put it in the microwave, I'll just blow some warm air onto it'

Then Jason comes along

Jason : 'Yeah man, I worked out today. Gimme the knife and I'll cut it with my super massive and ripped guns (okay, he didn't say the last part but I'm sure that he meant it)

Then he takes the knife and puts on his strong face and starts to cut the cake

10 minutes later

The cake has been cut in half

Everyone : WOOOOOOOOOOOO GO JASON

Jason : I didn't wanna cut too hard because I'm scared I might cut through to the table

Tahnee : Now you just have to cut the cake into in another 13 pieces

Jason : Glances at his 'guns' Yeah cool

After another 10 minutes

Another piece of the cake has been cut! The after the 20 minutes the cake had already melted and cutting it was no longer a problem

PS. See what I did in the title ;) I am so funnay

Holidays !
Tuesday, October 5, 2010

I haven't posted properly in AGES! Well, here I am again. Because I kind of feel obliged to post something. Anyway, I hope that everyone's holidays have been great, because mine have been pretty alright. Monday was semi formal, and that was pretty fun. Everyone looked real pretty and all, but OMG WTF @ THE DANCEFLOOR. I got stepped on 6+ times (and 4 of those times, it was Olly >:|) But yes, the dancefloor was kindaaaa just a LITTLE bit too small.

And then after that was NAS again. For all you uncultured noobs out there, NAS is the National Art School, and its in Darlinghurst and the place used to be some woman's jail. But yeah, I went there again these holidays and drew people. And it was kinda tedious, because you can only draw naked people for so long. And the men were so gross. It was just terrible. I swear, if we didn't have to draw him, I would have assumed that he was some drunk guy who got lost and ended up in the school. He had the most disgusting hair, kinda like anime style - but more gross, probably only because it was super greasy and kinda looked like he waxed it (yes, for all you dudes out there, if you put too much wax in your hair it kinda looks really bad). And he was so skinny that his chest was literally inverted. You know how people usually have chests, and they like concave out, well his ones go IN. I don't even ... Yeah, I would totally draw a picture of him and show you, but like I've kinda had enough of that.

ANYWAY, it was pretty cool, and I met some really cool people, and everyone there is so talented (D: so much competition for year 12 HSC!) AND OMGOSH, the people there are so cultured and stuff, and they all have nice clothes, I am so jealous. But yes, On the last night were the exhibitions and the works were amazinggggg.

Some painting
Sculptures duh

more paintings
more paintings !

Yeah, anyway, I'm really inspired and totally pumped for my body of work for year 12 :D Not that anyone cares. I'm kinda excited about year 12. I like this whole idea of starting new. I will actually study this time. Partially because I kinda have to. But yeah, have a good holiday and don't fuck your sleeping patterns guys :)

Long Time no post
Monday, August 16, 2010

There are so many people out there, wanting to change the world, stop the famines, reverse climate change, find the cures to cancer. But I think that we should all take things step by step, and look at everything and everyone around us for a change. There are so many things that we miss, so many things that we overlook while we blindly run after the goals that we set ourselves. I mean sure, it's nice to have focus on things, but I really think that recently, everyone has closed off their peripheral vision and don't see anything but what is directly in front of them.

Everyone has become so intent on reaching their target, that they have cut off the world around them. When was the last time you actually thought about someone? When was the last time you stopped to see if someone was okay? People are so oblivious to everything. Humans are not meant to be independent. We are meant to help each other out. We are meant to rely on one another. You're not going to get very far on your own. The world doesn't work like that.

(Yes, I am talking about you Baulko '11)

Prefect elections!
Wednesday, July 21, 2010

Prefect elections = super suck up to everyone time.

It's good I guess. Everyone was being super nice to me at school today :) I like it! But I bet after tomorrow's over, everyone will go back to normal again xD

But yeah. Don't make this a popularity contest! So vote for people who you actually leaders, not just the nice and smart kids. And vote for people in different friendship groups. And being a prefect doesn't determine your status in the school. That's just silly. Andand don't be disappointed if you don't get the place, because there are 200 of us in this school, and sure, being a prefect is a good opportunity (Ha, I spelt it right that time Niro :D) but it's not the only one!

Good luck to everyone who wants to be elected!

Don't bash me for saying this, but :
Tuesday, July 20, 2010

Is it just me, or is Masterchef the most overrated thing in the whole entire world? I mean seriously, it is a show about watching people cook. I'll have to be honest, my judgement might be biased because I've only seen like 2 full episodes, but really? Watching people cook? Is that really that interesting? Why do people even find it suspenseful and intriguing? And how do people determine favourites and stuff. Why do people like Jimmy or whoever the shit he is? It's not like they've tasted his food or talked to him before. All you can do to make a judgement on who you like, is to watch them place ingredients together, a competition to make the most impressive dish. It's ridiculous! And half the show are just fillers, and suspense builders (like all other reality TV shows) Yeah, that was a terrible post. But I really don't know why people like Masterchef. I really don't. Maybe we're all just food-crazy and lazy, and can't be bothered to cook anything, so we decide to watch other people cook instead.

Nothing. I'm concentrating purely on this, and will shut down my computer after i finish.

idk. emotionless?

Who did you last get into a big argument with?
No idea,

Last thing you ate?
dinner.

Are you looking forward to in the next three months?
Definitely. Should be hectic.

Are you a morning person or a night person?
Morning in summer. In winter, too godamn cold, so I stay up at night, and then sleep in.

Has anyone sang to you?
I dont think so.

How often do you lose your voice?
Never

Honestly, has anyone seen you in your under wear in the past 3 months?
Yeah.

Our Movie Adventure (Not that anyone really cares)
Sunday, July 11, 2010

Alright, so the other day, me Deva and Vibhav decided to go see a movie. BUT Deva was like 'Oh I have to see it after 2:00 which was kinda inconvenient, because 2 was such a silly time. BUT unfortunately for us, that was the only time that was possible for us. So we went on the internet and looked up movies that we could watch. And surprise surprise, there was nothing to watch at that time except for Shrek, Predators and Eclipse. So Deva wanted to watch Eclipse, and Vibhav REALLY didn't want to (or so he said). And I REALLY did not want to see Shrek. And so Predators it was.

The next day at 2:15 I arrived at the cinemas, and Vibhav was like 'Predators is actually on at 3:40! Not 2:40!' And I was like 'WHAT!' Because I clearly remembered that I saw it was on at 2:40. I looked again in disbelief, and to my surprise (not really surprise) I was right again! Vibhav was silly and had misread the sign. So we were like, 'Lets line up so that we can get tickets' when it got to us, the lady was like, 'Show me your ID!' and I was like :O because I didn't bring my wallet, and I didn't have ID and I got really confused as to why ID was needed because I didn't know that the movie was MA15+. I thought that she wanted to see my ID because I was buying a student ticket, which didn't make any sense, because I was using some movie voucher we had at home, and it was an adult. And then I realised my mistake, and we were like 'Sorry', turned around (and saw the massive line of angry faces behind us, ready to smash us for making their wait longer) and walked off. And Deva STILL wasn't here yet. So we waited.

And then Vibhav was like 'Hey! It's Deva! - Oh wait no, it's just some other lanky guy' And then we waited some more, and then Vibhav was like 'Hey! It's Deva!' And it was Deva! And then we broke the news to Deva, and in the end we had no choice ... but to watch ... Shrek. =/

SO we stood in the line again, and purchased three tickets to see Shrek Fo(u)rever and After. And then we went and bought something to eat. Deva looked at the popcorn machines and was like 'Wow! Self serve!' But for some reason, even though he realised that it was self serve he still went and asked the guy for a medium sized popcorn, and made himself look like an idiot.

THEN we decided that maybe we'd do something really rebellious and sneak in to watch predators! :O How rebel. Deva was so excited, and he was jumping up and down exclaiming 'Yeah! Yeah! Let's sneak in!' and Vibhav was too scared, and was like 'No! That's dodgy' (or something) and so in the end, we decided that we woulddddd SNEAK IN! And then we realised that we had no idea which cinema Predators was in and we were like dayumm. So, we walked into the place where our cinema was (we were cinema 8) and we snuck in to EVERY cinema there was ! (there were four .. ) Two were empty and one had a sign that said session in progress. And so it was OBVIOUSLY the one with the sign! But unfortunately, noone wanted to sneak into that cinema with me .. so we had to watch Shrek.

There was still about 10 minutes before our session started, and there were all these little kids lining up outside the cinema eagerly, waiting for the session to start, their parents frustrated and extremely annoyed about the prospect of having to watch SHREK x_x with their kids, and we decided that we were really thirsty and we wanted to get a drink. So we walk back into that place where you buy stuff and get ripped off (I forgot what it was called) And then, we get our drinks, while we wait for Deva to choose whether he wants a medium, a small or a large, or whether he wants frozen or not frozen blahblahblah. Then we realise, Oh no! We're still carrying the popcorn! They might think that we're shoplifting! :O So we went to the person who was serving us and explained to them that we had purchased the popcorn beforehand - and they just looked at us like we were idiots ... (well, we kinda were)

Then, after allllll that - we walked into the cinema and OMFG. STUPID DEVA, UPON BUYING THE TICKETS, DID NOT CHOOSE SEATING. And we had to sit in the THIRDDDDD row. :'( Sigh. What a disaster. I mean, having to watch Shrek is bad enough .. but THIRD ROW D: But yes. We craned our necks and the movie started. Yes ... this story is getting boring now. So I'll end it here :)

time travel (hasn't been invented yet)
Saturday, July 10, 2010

Never take anything for granted, ever - because believe me, it will come back and hit you in the face really, really hard. Be thankful for every person and every thing in your life at the moment. Because it might not be there a few days/weeks/months from now. And then you will regret it, and wish that you could turn back time, and change that one little thing that caused your whole world to crash down on you. But unfortunately for us, time travel is not an option yet - so think twice before you do anything.
